King Ferdinand declared the end of the 800 years old effort by which the Northern Kingdoms recovered all Spanish territory from the Muslims invaders. A statue of El Cid Campeador (The Fighting Champion) was erected in Burgos. The Imam of Madrid said (June 3, 2009) that the last word is yet to be heard on the issue.

In Spain, they do not have nearly enough children to replace themselves. They are too busy living the good life of the European Death Culture.
The ruling elite believe this is a reason to allow vast immigration, for the sake of the economy.
The Imam, as a matter of cold fact, is probably right.
