Dont tell me that she is a secret believer in Himmler's religion! Bizarre, very bizarre, but not necessarily bad for the Jews. It is more a problem for the Catholic Church.

There are about 1000 - 2000 highly assimilated Jews in Vienna. I dont think they are salient or visible.
According to the wiki article "Austrian Jews," there are between 8000 and 20,000 Jews in Austria.
The chief rabbi of the Vienna Jewish community, Paul Chaim Eisenberg, is modern orthodox, so I wonder exactly how assimilated the whole community is. It could be like Israel, where "the synagogue we don't attend is orthodox," but it could also reflect greater communal observance and greater likelihood to stand out in the Reich Mother's regime.

Given the Ashkenazi and the Sephardim are two distinct races (not to mention the Ethiopians), it is sometimes difficult to understand the Jewishness of being a Jew. Particularly since Jews go from total atheism to extreme orthodoxy in religious observance and belief.
Here is a friendly hint: It is not good to alienate persons who could be your allies in achieving important goals. Often Jews appear suicidally self defeating in that regard.

Jews are white. If I were told this woman was Jewish I would find it completely credible.
Jewishness is part if the tissue of Western Civilization; the former cannot be excised without seriously degrading the latter. This is why Nazism was fundamentally anti-Western.
